According to Machiavelli, effectual truth is factual by nature, without being influenced by the primacy of what is being considered to be good and just. Truth means the effectual truth, and it is truth by its own power, that is an impressive truth that may not be traditionally accepted, but is more powerful than the subtle truth. This is opposed to the idea of imaginary principals and values that no one has ever known . Hence, although just like Aristotle, Machiavelli also believes in the stratification of the society, and the importance of having a leader, he does not emphasize on the importance of a leader possessing high moral values and principles in life . Aristotle believes that a leader will be able to lead and guide people, only if he is morally sensitive and virtuous enough. However, to Machiavelli, the prince may not necessarily have the highest principles, but he should appear to be a man of high virtues and principles before his followers . 3: The profession of good as defined by Machiavelli refers to the theological virtues and moral virtues that guide and determine the action of an individual. According to Machiavelli, a man willing to make a profession of good in all regards, will eventually ruin his happiness and prospect simply because not everyone around him is not necessarily virtuous. Machiavelli claimed that Platos hierarchical order of religions, has led to the world of corrupt modernity, which breeds nothing more than idleness and frustration, owing to the Christian prospect of a Heavenly world . 4: According to Machiavelli, the standard of peoples behavior can be based on the value one agrees to put on ones own self interests and motives, instead of placing the same on the well-being of others in the society.
